Ludovic, aka DJLUDOREMIX, Nohô Host in the Gard: A Passionate DJ and Producer

There are artists you listen to, and then there are those you feel. Ludovic Martinez, aka DJLUDOREMIX, is one of the latter. A DJ, composer, and producer based in Pont-Saint-Esprit in the Gard region, he has built his reputation night after night, behind the turntables and in the studio. On Nohô, he opens the doors to his home studio to share what has always driven him: the art of evoking emotion through sound.

Can you introduce yourself?

I’m Ludovic Martinez, also known as DJLUDOREMIX Officiel. I’m a DJ, electronic music composer, and producer based in Pont-Saint-Esprit in the Gard region, though I’m originally from Béziers. Above all, I’m passionate about sound and colorful vibrations. It’s in my DNA to seek out melodies and rhythms that transport listeners and to share them.

What has your journey been like?

I grew up in Béziers and was drawn to DJing and production from a very young age. I built my reputation on the nightlife scene in the Gard region, with my first events featured on Resident Advisor as early as 2023, and my label has been around since 2017. I’ve always strived to discover new talent and share it through my compilations. I taught myself through countless sleepless nights behind the decks, experimenting, and listening. Today, I split my time between live shows, the studio, and social media, where I share my daily remixes.

How did this passion come about?

Ever since I was a kid, I’ve needed music to tell a story. It’s not just a beat—it’s a vibe, a feeling. What hooked me was that moment when you put two tracks together that have nothing to do with each other, and suddenly it creates a whole new emotion. I love taking the listener on a journey to musical heights and unearthing sounds that lead down inner paths. That’s what I want to convey: the idea that you can create your own unique sound.

What are your upcoming music projects?

I’m fully focused on three areas for 2026/2027. Original remixes and mashups, with a series heavily influenced by house, dance, and Afro-Latin music—lots of sunshine, designed for clubs and beaches. Discovery compilations, to continue highlighting gems from emerging artists, just as I’ve been doing from the start. And live performances, with more dates in France and abroad, plus expanding my studio to produce tracks for other artists. Not to mention updating my channel and djludoremix.fr every day.

What do you offer on Nohô?

Two different experiences, depending on what appeals to you.

The first is “In the Shoes of a DJ.” An hour in my world. I welcome you into my home studio, where we’ll explore the Pioneer turntables, the headphones, how to transition between two tracks, and how to build up a track. You’ll leave having mixed your first mini-set. No lecture—just a genuine, human connection centered around my passion.

The second is “The Secrets of Remixing.” How I transform a hit into a DJLUDOREMIX. We’ll break down a track, identify the melody, and lay down a new beat. I’ll show you how I find those colorful vibes that make all the difference. Perfect if you want to produce music or just understand how a remix is born.
