What is a Nohô Nomad?

A Nohô Nomad is a curious person, maybe you, who chooses to meet passionate people near home or while traveling. Not to tick another activity off a list, but to live a real moment: listen to a story, learn a gesture, share a coffee around something that lights someone up.
On Nohô, a Nomad isn’t a customer. A Nomad is someone who comes to meet a Host: a real human who agreed to open their world.

What is a passion encounter on Nohô?

A passion encounter is the heart of Nohô: a real, in-person meeting between a Host (the passionate person who created a listing) and a Nomad (you, coming to discover). It’s not a class. It’s not a guided tour. It’s a human-to-human moment, built around a passion that brings people together.
Japanese cooking, stonecutting, stargazing, calligraphy, beekeeping, comics, chess, perfumery — every passion encounter is an open door into someone’s world.

How do I find a passion encounter near me?

Two ways, from the website or app:

  • The interactive map: share your location on the app and discover Hosts around you, pinned on the map. Great for seeing what’s hiding 10 minutes from home.
  • The Nohô search engine: search by world (Art, Craft, Nature, Sport, Leisure), by keyword (“pottery”, “beekeeping”, “astronomy”…) or by city.

Tip: open yourself to a passion you don’t know yet. The best Nohô encounters often start with an unexpected curiosity.

How do I book my encounter with a Host?

Booking takes just a few clicks:

  • Pick the listing that speaks to you and open it to discover the Host’s world.
  • Click “View availability”.
  • Choose a time slot in the calendar.
  • Suggest a start time to your Host. They get an email and a notification right away.
  • Once your Host confirms, you finalize the payment and the Nohô chat opens between you.
  • From there, you can talk, prepare, and look forward to the moment together.

The chat isn’t a formality, it’s already the beginning of your encounter.

What happens if the Host does not respect Nohô’s values?

You need to report it to Nohô:

  • On “I’m Nomad”, then “My dashboard”, select the share in question and press “Report a problem”.
  • On the application and on the website, during or after your share, you can report a Guest who has misbehaved or not shown up.
  • In the event of serious misbehavior, you must file a complaint with the appropriate authorities.
  • After verification, Nohô may exclude the Host from the application and the site.

Find out more about “Behavior considered for reporting” and “Nohô values”.

What are the rules of a share?
  • The Host and Nomad must respect the general conditions and values of Nohô.
  • The Host must not ask the Nomad for any money for the sharing, as he is paid directly by Nohô.
  • All requests for money other than the price of the share must be detailed and explained by the Host in the summary of his share.
  • When a Nomad books a share, he blocks the chosen time slot exclusively for himself and the people accompanying him.
  • The Host cannot receive Nomads from different groups in a sharing. For example: Nomad X reserves the 3pm to 7pm time slot; Nomad Y cannot reserve this time slot, so must choose another.
  • Both the Host and the Nomad must show the kindness required to welcome and share with Nohô.
  • Nohô reserves the right to delete a share and ban a Host or Nomad who does not respect Nohô’s general conditions and values.
How much does a share cost?

A sharing experience for up to 6 people in the same group costs €35, whatever the sharing universe. This price includes financial support for the Host and Nohô’s connection fees.

How do I pay for my share?

Directly on the application or website with your payment card (Visa, Mastercard) or with an American Express card.

What happens if I cannot attend the share?

You must notify the Host immediately, without cancelling your share, via the Nohô chat, and arrange another time or date. This way, you’ll avoid cancellation charges. Please note that the Nohô chat will be disconnected once you have finished sharing.

How do I cancel my share booking?

Nothing could be simpler: just go to your “I’m Nomad” tab, then “My dashboard”. Under “Upcoming”, you can select the share you wish to cancel. Pay attention to the cancellation deadline for a refund.

Am I refunded if my share is cancelled?
  • If you cancel more than 24 hours before the start of the sharing:
  • You will receive a refund of 30 €, the price of the share (35 €) minus the reservation fee (5 €).
  • If you cancel less than 24 h before the start of the sharing :
  • You will not be reimbursed and the Host will receive the cost of the sharing as if you had taken part.
  • If you don’t show up when the sharing starts or if you cancel afterwards :
  • You will not be reimbursed, and the Host will receive the amount of the sharing as if you had participated.
  • If the Host does not show up for the sharing, you will be reimbursed the full cost of the sharing (€35).
  • If the Host cancels the sharing 48 hours before the start of the sharing, you are reimbursed the full price of the sharing (€35).
What happens if the Host is not there?

You have to report it to Nohô, and if, after checking, the Host isn’t there, you’ll be refunded the price of your share.

Am I insured during my share?

While you’re sharing, you’re covered by your personal insurance. You will find detailed terms and conditions by clicking on this link.

How do I give my review on a Host and their share?

When you’ve finished sharing, you’ll receive an e-mail from Nohô asking you to leave a review. Alternatively, by going to “My dashboard”, you can leave a review at any time once you’ve finished sharing. Please note that once you’ve sent your review, you won’t be able to modify it. Team Nohô reserves the right to delete any review that is contrary to the values of the site.

How do I manage my payment cards?
  • In “I’m Nomad”, click on “Means of payment”.
  • All your registered cards will appear.
  • You can remove a card by clicking on the delete button (website and application).
  • You cannot modify your registered cards, only delete them and register them again.
  • To register a new payment card, you need to reserve a share and at checkout you’ll be asked to use the registered card or register a new one.
