Every year, the European Artistic Crafts Week (SEMA) highlights craftsmanship from all over Europe. In Normandy, this event is a real invitation to discover the fascinating world of artisans and their unique creations.
From March 31 to April 5, 2025, Normandy will be buzzing with the SEMA, an event dedicated to the transmission of know-how and the promotion of arts and crafts. Cabinetmakers, ceramists, glassmakers, cutlers, bookbinders and many others will open the doors of their workshops to share their passion and expertise.
SEMA in Normandy offers a multitude of activities for all audiences:
Normandy is a land of craftsmanship with ancestral know-how. From the blown glass of the Bresle Valley to the earthenware of Rouen and the Aubusson tapestry, the region is full of talents who perpetuate traditions while innovating.
Whether you are curious, an art lover or looking for a career change, the SEMA is a unique opportunity to dive into a world where passion, patience and excellence are the key words. This event is also a great opportunity to support local crafts and interact with passionate professionals.
Don’t miss this exceptional week and come and celebrate the talent of Norman artisans! To find out more about the participating venues and workshops, check out the program of the SEMA in Normandy.
If you don’t have time to meet the artisans during the European Arts and Crafts Week, the Nohô platform is there for you. Artisans can register and place an ad so that you can come and meet them for a discussion, a workshop visit or an introduction.
